- Trimming hair and nails
If you are too busy to handle your pet’s grooming, don’t worry about it – let us handle all of your grooming needs! If you enjoy grooming your pet yourself, however, you can find a wide variety of helpful products at all PetsWay locations.
Enjoy washing your dog yourself but don’t want to deal with the mess afterward? Try one of our DIY Dog Wash Stations. Each bath comes with a water hose, dryers, vital supplies, and adorable accessories. Plus, the baths can accommodate dogs of all sizes. After you’ve finished, a PetsWay associate will clean up the mess. Stop by our St. Louis store, Nixa store, or the Springfield locations on South Glenstone and East Sunshine to use these self-service, dog-washing stations.
While we make every reasonable accommodation for walk-ins, we strongly encourage that you schedule your grooming appointment in advance. To get started, simply contact the PetsWay location nearest to you.
Please note, dogs must be current on rabies vaccinations when utilizing grooming services.
Additional Services Offered:
- Blueberry Facial and Blueberry Spa Package – Now offered by all PetsWay groomers
Treat your dog to an all-natural, hypo-allergenic Blueberry Facial. Dogs enjoy the special attention to their face while having the Blueberry Facial gently massaged into their fur and skin. It’s a tear-less, lick-safe shampoo, face wash, and color brightener all-in-one that contains a variety of healthy ingredients, including blueberries, avocado, coconut oil, and aloe. The Blueberry Facial provides vitamins A, D, and E and is gentle on the eyes. Plus, it smells delicious! The Blueberry Spa Package includes the facial, a full-body shampoo using Blueberry Facial along with a Blueberry conditioner, and a splash of Blueberry Clove Pet Cologne. Your dog will adore the attention, and you’ll enjoy having a clean, fresh-smelling pup. - Single Dose Capstar – Offered by all PetsWay groomers
If you’re struggling to keep your dog or cat free of fleas, check out Capstar. A fast-acting pill, Capstar kills 90% of adult fleas within four hours on dogs and within six hours on cats. Ask a PetsWay groomer for more information at your pet’s next grooming. Our groomers can give your pet a single dose of Capstar before beginning a grooming session. The product is also available in a six-pack at the register and online. - Nail Trimming – Offered by all PetsWay groomers
Trimming your pet’s nails regularly is important for his or her health. Plus, well-trimmed nails are less likely to scratch your floors, furniture, or even people. If you prefer to trim your dog or cat’s nails yourself, you can find the right tools for the job at Petsway. If you’re feeling apprehensive about trimming your pet’s nails or you aren’t sure how to do it, schedule an appointment with a PetsWay groomer. - Nail Painting
Some pet owners like to add extra pizzazz to their dog or cat’s style. If you want to add a bit of color or sparkle to your dog or cat’s nails, schedule a nail painting session at Petsway. We will use pet-safe nail polish to beautify your pet’s nails. Never apply nail polish made for humans to your pet’s nails, as several of the ingredients are toxic and could cause serious health problems if ingested or inhaled. - Teeth Brushing
By cleaning your pet’s teeth regularly throughout his or her life, you can prevent major problems in the future. Ask a PetsWay associate for help selecting oral health products, like pet-friendly toothbrushes and toothpaste as well as bones, chews, and treats that benefit oral hygiene. We also offer teeth-brushing services to clean the teeth and freshen the breath of your pet. To learn more about oral hygiene recommendations for pets, contact your veterinarian. - Anal Gland Cleaning
Dog anal glands carry a smelly fluid, which is usually expressed naturally by the body. If the fluid isn’t emitted, it can cause disorders, infections, and discomfort. If your pet needs help in this area, we can empty the anal sacs during a grooming session.
